Kitchen: Phase 1 complete

To start here is a picture of the little pickle who loves pasta, tomatoes, and peas. Love those pigtails, or is it ponytails? Who knows?!

So this is the mess we have lived in through this phase 1 transformation. It doesn't look too bad but I'm already sick of going through the dinning room to use the microwave. Unfortunately this won't change until Phase 3 it looks like. Oh well, the price you have to pay...

This is the inside of the cabinet we replaced. Notice the vent the took up 1/3 of the one cabinet. What a joke and a pain.
Here is Mike thoughtfully fixing the vent to flow under the cabinet as to not take up ANY cabinet space now. Isn't he dreamy? I think so!!

We are replacing the floor in phases also. Mike has done most of it but I did help. I even did a very difficult cut around one of the doorways. It went pretty quick with the lovely peel 'n stick tiles. Chloe loved watching.

So this is the "ta-da" moment. Here is the BEFORE...

...and here is the AFTER. What do you think? Any improvement. Really we don't care if you have a negative opion because this is how it is and how it's going to stay. So pppplllllllbbbbbbb and you are not our friend. Ha ha ha, only kidding.

The new lovely, spacious, happy cabinet over the fridge I have asked for since we moved in. This house is complete (temporarily) in my books. Pardon the messy fridge.

ALL DONE!!!

It looks so completely amazing and modern. I am so impressed. This coming from the family that apparently can only paint. WOW! It makes it look so much newer. It will definitely help you sell so you can move out to CO with us! I keep sending out positive messages to the universe so it will happen!

Yea! It looks so great! I am so impressed! Especially with reworking the vent! Mike is a genius! And Jodi is the brains behind the decor. I love it! I know you will love it, too! Maybe it will keep you in Baltimore for a little while longer!

I just showed your blog to Anna so she could see Chloe again. This entry was the first picture of her, so I also had to explain the new kitchen. At the end with the before and after picture, my sweet Anna said, Hey, I want that for my new house! Good work! My 2 yr old approves.
