Tagged, ages ago

My friend Erika tagged me ages ago and now I am finally coming up with answers to her tag. Here goes, 8 things people probably don't know about me (Probably because I've never really told many people).

1. My favorite M&M is the dark brown. It always has been, since I can remember. When eating M&M's the black ones are the ones I save to eat very last, to this day! It is probably because they are the same color as chocolate. Growing up I didn't understand why everyone like the green so much. But I have been true to myself and this is one area I didn't fall into the peer pressure trap. Here's to the least favorite M&M!

2. When I was in college my favorite lie to tell people was that my younger sister and I were twins. We don't look remotely alike and people seemed to believe us every time. She is tall, blonde, and skinny. I am, how do I put this nicely about myself, short, brunette, and aaahhhh...thick. There are a few people out there that are still a little miffed with the two of us for making him believe for quite a long time that we were fraternal twins. Poor Troy.

3. If I could be selfish and not think about my current career choice, I would love to be a National Geographic Photographer. That would be the most amazing job. Travel to exotic and far reaching places of the world and take pictures of it. But for now I will just be taking pictures of a one-year-old growing up in Maryland. That works for me.

4. I took a limo as a taxi in San Fransisco. Not very exciting as it was only about 20 blocks but you probably didn't know that about me.

5. I HATE CRICKETS!!! This hatred didn't start until we moved to Maryland and we were introduced to the Camel Back Cricket. It is the creepiest bug around. They are crazy. As you approach them they run towards you. Or they run in crazy serpentine lines to avoid being captured. Plus they have the super long funky antenna that look like an extra pair of legs (they remind me of spiders-the other icky bug in my books). I can't even kill these crickets. Mike has to do it and he hates them just as much as I do. But he is more brave than I am, plus he has a system. He uses the electrified tennis racket bug killer and then scrapes them up with a dry-wall spatula. They stink when they get electrocuted and squishing them is out of the question because they crunch to much. EEEeeeewwwwwwwwweeeeeee, just thinking about them gives me the creeps. Must move on.

6. I am secretly (not anymore) trying to figure out a way to move us to London. Being the most expensive city int the world to live in, it is pie-in-the-sky kind of thoughts. It would be such fun place to live and get to know. For any of you out there starting to worry, go ahead and stop. I did the little quiz for a Visa and we failed miserably. We don't have an MBA nor are we in the ideal age group (we are old). A girl can dream right?

7. I cannot start the dishwasher without stopping it to throw in just one more spoon, cup or plate. This always happens within the first 5-10 minutes because I can always find that random cup or spoon, especially with Chloe's love of spoons. If there is room I would rather have it getting clean than sitting in the sink. Mike actually pointed this out to me and makes fun of me for it.

8. I am incredibly defensive about my eye color. Mike found this out last week when he told me I had blue eyes. For those of you that don't know, I HAVE GREEN EYES! And that's all I have to say about that.

So I'm supposed to tag other people. I will tag Serena and Mindy again for Erika and anyone else who wants to share silly little facts about themselves, go ahead and do it.

Awesome, this gives me something to do while sitting in the hospital. I can only think of about 3 things off the top of my head. Probably because I am A)not that interesting and 2) I am a blabber mouth and everyone knows about me! Thanks for talking last night...it helped a lot. Loving you!

Those crickets are seriously creepy! One more reason to come back to good old Utah. Very cute, I love the brown m&m thing. ;-D

Hey you. I just realized tonight that I hadn't seen an update from you in a long while, but then I realized that's because I hadn't put you in my reader. Oops!
