Cold Nose

We are cold and Chloe has a cold so the combination means...staying home. The poor girl is so out of sorts. She coughs in her sleep which means she is not sleeping as well as she usually does. Her nose is a constant faucet and wiping it is a new sport for Mike and I. She is getting better about letting us get close to her face with a tissue, but I think I will make a run to the store later to get a box of soft lotion tissues to ease her pain. Every sneeze means two new streams above her lip and usually two tears, one from each eye, running down her cheeks. Hopefully it will end soon, but if not she has a doctor's appointment Thursday so we can use it as a sick kid visit also, how convenient.

Funny side note about myself. In Jr. High and High School I would wish for colds, so much so that I would do what ever I could to get one. I loved how them made me feel, head all loopy, muscles achy, and the scratch in my voice. Once I was starting to get sick and I sang songs to the radio at the top of my lungs in order to loose my voice. Now that I think back on it, such a stupid idea.
