Utah Football has Begun!

We are BIG Ute fans at our house. Some say the "teaching" began before our kids were born (Chloe came home from the hospital wearing U socks). But hey, you teach your kids what you know is right...right?!?

Well, last Thursday Chloe and I were lucky enough to go to the opening Utah football game with my parents. (Mike told me to take Chloe since he is taking her to another game this season. I'm so glad I did!) We had a great time cheering on the Utes, staying up VERY late, eating stadium food, and my favorite sharing a quiet moment with
a shaved ice on the west steps watching the sunset. I love having a chance to spend one-on-one time with my Chloe. She is such a funny girl and this age is priceless!

Oh, and it was a pretty good game too.

Wouldn't you want to take this excited fan to the game?
She is even sporting her antique face tattoo from when mom was in college!

Doing her best "U" with the sunset

The "Tigers Blood" shaved ice was a big hit!

The girls as the sun was setting

Practicing her "U" before the game with Nana

"Mom the band is TOO LOUD!"
It took her until about half time to be comfortable with the noise.

Uncle Jon came to visit us before he went to his seats on the 3rd or 4th row 50 yard line.
Working at the ticket office for the game has some serious perks!

Way past her bedtime and still the biggest smile on her face!
We had a great time! Thanks Nana and Papa!

Hey guys, I don't have your email. We are going to get together wed the 15th at Laird park at 5:30pm - bring your own picnic dinner, we'll bring drinks & popsicles! Hope to see you!

I must say, Chloe is the cutest Ute I have ever seen. Her "U" is so so cute. It should go on the U website or something. SERIOUSLY! I love the sunset lighting! ...the only suggestion I would make would be to use a little more blue and a little less red. :)
