Chloe: Mom, when we go camping as a family we shouldn't camp by a river. We should only go camping by the ocean or a lake. Because it won't be safe for Ryan.
Chloe: Mom, I wish I was nocturnal.
Me: Why? If you were awake when we were asleep and we wouldn't get to see you or talk to you.
Chloe: But I could talk to my hedgehog friends.
Ryan has taken after his sister and now calls Mike and I by our names. It is really funny to be laying in bed in the morning and hear a "MIKE" come from across the hall. With that little voice of his and his exploding vocabulary he gets what he wants most times. Ryan has really started to come out of a phase of trying my patience and into a darling little toddler phase. He has his days but for the most part we want to keep him around.

Hedge hog friends...bah ha ha!!! I love that. That really made my morning. Thank you! So sweet that Ryan is saying your names. I wish we could meet him sometime, I think he and Henry would get along pretty great! Maybe there will be some reason to go to Utah. I really miss it there! Although, I miss you more...
That's too funny
Tommy had a phase where he called Dave by his first name. Dave said he started feeling like he wasn't the dad and instead my boyfriend or something so he kept correcting him with "daddy" until it stopped. I thought it was pretty funny though.
