First Haircut

This is for Grandma Lia.
Sunday afternoon we finally gave Ryan a haircut.
It was long over due,
but seeing that it took me 3+ years to cut Chloe's hair
I think 7 months and 3 weeks is an improvement.

Here you have the boy before
WOW that floppy hair and comb-over!

Mom cuts off the tiny ponytail, to save of course.
We used the clippers after this and Ryan did very well.
No tears at all.

He looks so different to me.
His hair still stands up in the back, but at least he looks normal now.

And for the sleeping picture...the best time of day.
Notice, no car seat! He is doing MUCH better.

Cool hair. I love stand up baby hair! We have only trimmed Josh's above his ears - he is getting a sweet white mullet. We'll see how long I can keep Dave from cutting his hair.

LOVE! Eva's hair is totally doing the duck-fuzz standy-up-y thing right now too! It's the most frequently commented-on thing I get when we're out and about. Congrats on mustering up the courage to do some snip-snip (that sounded kind of circumcision-like, sorry) before he was 3!

I love his new haircut! I am a true believer that the more you cut the more it grows.

oh he looks so cute. It is amazing how much older it makes them look. oh man those eyes he would never get in trouble if he were mine.

Good to finally find your blog. Yesterday I really couldn't remember the address you told me in the car, so I thought I'd just ask you again at church. But the internet comes through again with facebook!

Jodi, you're awesome.

Cute hair cut! I love getting getting my hands on my kids hair, but it's amazing at how different a little bit can make!
