Madsen Cargo Bike

Some of our good friends have created the coolest cargo bike around. It is called simply the Madsen. We had the fun opportunity to ride one at a get together in a neighborhood park recently. It has been quite a while since I have been on a bike, but it is true...you don't forget how to ride a bike. There is a huge cargo bucket on the back for all your junk or even places to seat belt in the kids. Mike and I both took turns and rode it with ease. Chloe was happy to be our bucket passenger and loved the ride. This might be on our list of things to get in the future...hint, hint, Mike. Here are a couple of blurry pictures, but you get the feel for it. If you want better pictures with better models check out their website here. Plus you can see the bike in the September issue of Martha Stewart Living, how cool it that?

The creators...the Madsens.

If you are interested, they will be seen in the LOTOJA next weekend as support crews.

P.S. you can win one right now. Check it out...http://www.madsencycles.com/contest/

So cute! We have become a Madsen-obsessed family. I think it would be so much fun! Anyway, I should just call you because I wanted to tell you I am not at the hospital, but my mom just came in this morning and we have been busy, busy. hopefully this baby will come soon, though! I want pregnancy to be over!! :)

I love the Madsen bikes! I saw them on NieNie dialouges, and loved them! I can't believe you know them! Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I totally sympathize with your "lack of Trader Joe woes" but I made a REALLY good pizza dough this week that I posted on my "Girl in the Kitchen" blog, if you're interested. It's not as easy as taking it out of the fridge, rolling it out and sticking it in the oven, but it's still pretty easy and REALLY yummy! Hope you all are doing well!
