Haircut for Love

Today was the day that I have been putting off for 3 long years. Chloe got her first haircut. Mike and I have been in love with her beautiful blond curls and have not had the heart to cut them. But today Ryan pulled Chloe's hair again and she cried...again. I had had enough. We decided that today was the day and we called and made the appointment.

She was apprehensive to begin with, but once the Barbie princess movie started she was distracted.

There was no going back at this point. Chloe's hair was just long enough to donate to Locks of Love. That was the consolation for cutting off all her hair. The thought that some little girl somewhere will possibly get these baby curls warms my heart.

But my baby is now so grown up with her new haircut.
I love it!
But she sure does look like her cousin Ali now.

Oh, WOW! I had no idea it had gotten that long! Well done, giving those lovely locks to charity, and I am cracking up at Chloe's rather unenthused faces in the before and after photos. You'll get used to it, honey, I promise! :)

Oh man she is so cute I am a fan of that little hair cut on girls. I love it and how cool she had enough to donate it to locks of love! She is beautiful.

What?! It took you 3 years to cut the poor girl's hair? Haha, turn around is fair play. Adorable though.

That is so hard to cut off the curls. But awesome that she was able to donate to locks of love...it must have been super long.
My neice works at that cookie cutters on 7200...she is the manager, her name is Amanda. She has platinum hair. You should ask for her sometime and tell her you are my friend!

So cute. How on earth did she get so old without me? I think the short hair gives her even more sass. Not that you (or she) needed that. Can't wait to see it in person. Way to be strong. Way to be strong.
