We have had a lovely Christmas season this year. Mike was able to take the last two weeks of the year off with saved up vacation and Chloe and I have been in heaven. I told Mike today that I don't think I can let him go back to working after this. He doesn't know how he will go back either. The good part is we still have another 8 days until we have to think about that.
Christmas was crazy and fun. Christmas Eve was spent splitting time between both of our families. Christmas day was nice a quiet in the morning. The three of us had the house to ourselves Christmas morning (we are still here at my parents with my sister, brother-in-law and their baby=full house). Santa was very generous this year and brought Chloe the best entertainment ever. She got a new kitchen and dishes. Let me just say that their have been much "Tea Party-ing" in the last 3 days. Currently, Chloe is playing happily with her darling cousin Raygen and has been for 30 minutes, thus the blogging. Christmas afternoon we spent at Mike's parents relaxing and playing with cousins. Then off to my grandparents Christmas Night party at my aunts house. It was fun to see so many of my Dad's family. By the time we left the snow storm finally let loose and we got 9" over night.
Chloe absolutely ate up the Christmas season. She loved talking about presents, baby Jesus, the manger, Santa, gingerbread houses, candy canes from the bank, Christmas music in the car, seeing Christmas lights, and everything else related. She has an amazing memory and picked up Jingle Bells (with the Dashing part) and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. I will have to post video's of her singing the songs because it is so cute (later, later).
We have enjoyed seeing so much family. Our California cousins are in town and Chloe has been in heaven playing with all the kids. Plus all our family and friends in town have been so much fun to see and play with. It is nice not to travel this year. We don't feel the pressure to hurry up and see everyone in a short amount of time. We know we will still be here in January and we can have more time then.
At this time of year we are grateful for our loving families who have been so supportive. Our lives are a little upside down right now, but we hate to think about where we could be if we were not so blessed. Thank you to all of our friends out there, far and wide. We hope all of you had a Merry, Merry Christmas and here's to a Happy New Year.
Love,
Jodi

Merry Christmas! It sounds like Chloe was a good girl. ;-D Megan got a tea set and we have been tea partying too. We'll have to have one together soon!
Did I read that right? Is this an announcement? Congratulations on no. 2!?!
Hello! It sounds like you guys had a great Christmas, and it sounds like it was a great move to move back home to be surrounded by family! It makes me happy to think of Chloe having tons of cousins to play with all the time. It kind of makes me sad! Aw! Anyway, I am glad you guys had such a great time, we love you and miss you as always!
So glad to see that you are alive and well and that all is happy there. We miss you like crazy. We'll be catching up next week when family is gone or one of these mornings when i am waiting around for the final plan! Love ya
Congrats on the "?"!
Hi! It was so fun to see you last night - I'm so happy about your new babe on the way. And you definitely need to post video of the song-singing - that's got to be to die for!
Glad you had a great Christmas. That is awesome that the hubby got to take off all those days to be with his family...I would love that!
BTW I got the girls jammies at Baby Heirlooms. That is in the shopping section across from Dans on 7200 and Highland Dr. I'm sure they still have them! Good luck.
uh duh...that is me "liz" above. I forgot to log out of my other dumb blog.....duuuhhhh!
Stop following me around to all of our friends blogs leaving comments and get the stinking camera hooked up and give us some love. Anna is crying for video of Chloe...I'll settle for pictures. :) Love you the most. Missing you...me
Adam loves to sing too and Jingle Bells became his favorite during the season! He could recognize it in the car, stores, everywhere we went and would sing along. We will have to get Chloe and Adam together for a duet!
