Halloween, DC, and more

To start just this long catch-up post, a picture of the cutest girl I know. But there are so many other things I should be doing right now but this is more fun. Since it has been such a long time since my last post, I have some catching up to do. We have been busy playing with friends, making numerous trips to DC for various reasons, doing some projects around the house, and enjoying the Halloween season.

We have been to DC three times in the last month. We met Papa Jim for dinner one night while he was in town for meetings. We went to the Zoo one afternoon with Daddy and stayed until it was dark and the animals were all going to sleep. Then we went back a few days later for a field trip play date with some of our friends. What fun!

Here is the Mommy and Me play date at the Zoo. It was a hot fall day, Chloe and I were over dressed, but we had a great time. Thanks to the two Elders on their P-Day for taking the photo for us! What a great opportunity to have such a cool resource so close to us.

Those pictured are: Jenny and Ashley Preece, Mindy and Anna Williams, Erika and Maddie Sullivan, Chloe and I, Serena Cherry with Camie Sullivan, Lauren Alder with Lane Cherry and Baby Holden Alder asleep in his stroller.

As for our house projects we have been doing some fix up and repairs. Mainly our kitchen light up grade and painting the walls on stairs to the basement. There is a list of other projects just begging to get done (the kitchen, Mike, hint, hint) but time and money are always holding us back. One day, one day. This weekend Mike finished up painting the vanity in the 1/2 bath in the basement and I started painting the vanity and mirror in the upstairs bathroom. While my project is still in progress, I think it will make the biggest impact. Sorry Mike (but he agrees). I will post pictures once it is done. You can be the judge.
