Vacation Part III: Midway

After Mike flew home, Chloe and I went up to Midway with Nana and Papa for two days. It was nice and relaxing. I loved being in the mountains again. We didn't do too much. Chloe was sleeping well by that point, and would sleep until after 7 am. It was dreamy. She won't even sleep that late at home.

Because Chloe is such a fish, we went swimming everyday. She loves the pool and splashing in the water.

One night while walking around I dipped her feet in the pool but she thought she was going all the way in and got upset when we left the pool. Don't worry, we went back the next day to have more fun with the Thomas cousins Raygen, JC, Kaelynn and Aunt Jori. JC entertained us by jumping into the pool like a crazy man. As you will see below, Nana did very well taking his action shot. Raygen showed off her jumping skills in the deep end of the pool. JC would not leave the shallow end, even with his life jacket.

Chloe loved the shower after the pool. This picture was taken about 5 minutes after the water was turned off and she had dripped dried just playing.

Papa took Chloe for a little ride on the ATV and I think she even liked it. No cries were heard on this trip.

Other than that we did a little shopping, made some good meals, played, and went for a late evening walk. Thanks Nana and Papa for a fun couple of days.

But in the end Chloe was just ready to pack up and leave. (I found her packing herself in the suitcase with her lovey and books.)
